Gastric Varix Histoacryl Glue

This 42 year old cirrhotic (Etoh + Hep C) presented with large volume upper GI endoscopy. A urgent endoscopy (video) showed signficant gastric varices with evidence of recent stigmata of haemorrhage. Histoacryl glue with Lipidol introducer was injected into the varix with resulting ongoing haemostasis.
