Skewered!!!

This 66 year old woman presented to her LMO with RIF pain and diarrhoea with some PR blood noted. She was treated for diverticulitis with partial resolution of symptoms. She was referred for review and Colonoscopy. At Colonoscopy in the mid sigmoid a large wooden foreign body was noted across the sigmoid colon (?Kebab stick). Under conscious sedation an attempt at removal was attempted (video), this was unable to be completed secondary to patient distress. A CT scan was arranged and further endoscopic management is planned.
